• How much does it cost?

  It is currently free to use. Have fun. Enjoy. Tell your friends. There is a “Donation” link once you log in that you are more than welcome to use if you like… (hint, hint)… if the site helps you out. There are also a few links on the right side of the page. We’re trying to keep advertising to a minimum, but we do need to cover the costs of hosting and running this site (not to mention the actual development time, but that’s another story). So at the very least check out the advertisers (we love TeeFury) and if you’re going to buy something from Amazon anyway, then clicking the Amazon.com link will at least give us a little on the sale.

• How long does it take to delete my tweets?

  Without getting too technical… not very long. When you request for a tweet to be deleted it gets added to the list that we send back to Twitter. We check that list, and send requests, every few minutes. So you might not see it drop immediately, but if you see that it has been added to the “pending” list then you will see it go away within a few minutes. Note that you don’t have to stay logged in to the site in order for the deletion to happen. You can go about your day and we’ll take care of everything.

• How do I log in?

  Top right corner of the site… “Login Using Twitter“

• Do you keep my Twitter password?

  No. We use Twitter’s Open Authentication Protocol to authorize and link your account here to your Twitter account. We don’t ever see your Twitter password. You can revoke that access at any time using the Settings page on Twitter

• Does it work?

  Yes. We delete tens of thousands of tweets a day. Of course if you have any problems feel free to DM us on Twitter (@deletetweets) or use the form on the Contact Page.
