We’re going offline until after the first of the year… too much to do, not enough hours in the day. See you in 2012!
Really people? Don’t you have anything better to do on a Saturday other than Delete your Tweets? Along the same lines… we’re going outside to play now. Enjoy your weekend…
Just over 10,000 tweets deleted in under 12 hours… Can I get a “wh-wh-wh-What-What”?
The new code is ready for testing. We’ll be watching it closely over the next few days just to make sure everything works as it should.
So log in and give it a go… Of course if you have any problems or questions feel free to hit us up on the Contact Page
Yes, it’s been a while…
We’re deploying some new code on the back end of the site to make deleting you tweets faster and more reliable.
Stay tuned!
So after seeing the response to the site we have to ask…
Why do you delete your tweets?
You can comment below or drop us a note. We’ll be putting the best responses on the site…
Wow… we just did a quick check of the system and it looks like things are cranking along. A couple of hundred new users… and over 10,000 tweets deleted… I’d say that’s not too shabby for the first day.
Thanks to those who sent in comments and suggestions… The feedback has been terrific. We’ll be looking over the suggestions and making some minor changes to the site.
We’re certainly glad to hear how it is helping people get those large numbers of tweets deleted from their stream.
A couple of days ago I found myself having to “clean” a Twitter account for a client. Long story short… the client had a “personal” Twitter account that they had also been using for business contacts. Over the years the content of the Twitter stream had gotten very mixed and suddenly became an issue when they picked up a new client…
Of course you can log in to Twitter and delete anything you’ve posted… but when you have dozens… or hundreds of posts that becomes an issue.
So we wrote a little script then thought we might as well put it out for other people who need to delete more than one tweet. And here we are.
If you are wanting to delete a number of tweets, then just login (at the top) and get to cleaning house.
Be sure to follow us on Twitter or Facebook as well. And if you find the site useful make sure and tell your friends.
Enjoy!
